BLACK METAL BUS SIGHTSEEING

– A FIELD TRIP THROUGH NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL

Explore the myths and realities of the early 1990s underground movement by visiting key locations with someone who witnessed its rise firsthand. Central to this history is Øystein Aarseth (Euronymous), whose record store Helvete and band Mayhem became catalysts for bands like Darkthrone, Emperor and Dimmu Borgir etc. — Until his murder by Varg Vikernes in 1993, a tragedy that ended an era and thrust the scene into global infamy. This tour blends history with personal anecdotes, offering rare insights from a true architect of Norwegian metal’s legacy, Anders Odden (Cadaver, Celtic Frost etc.)
