Accept replaces W.A.S.P

W.A.S.P. cancels Tons of Rock 2026 appearance – Accept confirmed as replacement

German metal legends Accept will step in as a replacement for W.A.S.P., who unfortunately have been forced to cancel their appearance due to family reasons.

Since the 1970s, Accept have been one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time. There is guaranteed to be a great atmosphere when they take over Ekebergsletta with classics such as Balls to the Wall and Metal Heart.

“It’s always disappointing when bands have to cancel at the last minute, but we are very pleased that the legendary Accept had an open date in a summer where they are appearing on the line-ups of many of Europe’s biggest festivals,” says festival director Jarle Kvåle.
