DNTDNT Leads the Way to Tons of Rock
Would you like to start your festival day with a refreshing walk up to Ekeberg? Together with DNT Oslo og Omegn, Tons of Rock invites you to walk from Oslo Central Station to Ekebergsletta.
How to get up to Ekeberg
The walk up to the festival site is just over 3 kilometres and takes just under an hour. The route starts at Oslo Central Station and takes you via Trelastgata, Bispegata and Middelalderparken, before continuing through historic Gamlebyen and onwards up to Ekebergsletta. Along the way, you’ll get fresh air, city views and a calm warm-up before the day’s concerts.
DNT Oslo og Omegn will have volunteers at Oslo Central Station to show you the way, and you’ll also meet DNT volunteers along the route. The UT.no app can be used as a guide all the way up.

How to get back down to Oslo
When the festival day is over and the final notes have faded, DNT will also help guide you safely back down. Volunteers will meet you at exit 2 by the Moonlight stage and guide you down from Ekeberg via Kongsveien, Valhallveien, Oppegårdgata and Gamlebyen, back towards Oslo Central Station. A calm walk back down isn’t the worst way to end a festival night.

Enjoy the walk – and have a great festival! 🤘
